IT ALL STARTED WITH A CAT NAMED MARBEL. ♡
The little story behind a name that means a whole lot to me.
01 — MEET MARBEL
Marbel is one of my three cats — and quite possibly the biggest personality in the house. He's affectionate, energetic, incredibly spoiled and the kind of cat who wants to be wherever you are. After going through a difficult period of his own, something changed between us. We became inseparable.
Marbel became my little shadow. ♡
02 — THEN I NEEDED HIM, TOO.
Some time later, I went through a difficult season of my own. I was encouraged to find simple, calming activities that could help me slow down — and that's when I started coloring. Page by page, it became my little ritual. But I was rarely coloring alone.
Marbel was always there. Next to me. On me. Sometimes practically on the coloring book.
03 — COLORING FILLED MY PAGES. MARBEL FILLED MY HEART.
Coloring gave me a quiet place to create, play and switch off for a while. Marbel brought something else entirely. Joy. Affection. Company. And a ridiculous amount of cuddles.
Those little moments meant more to me than I realized at the time. And eventually, they inspired something new.
04 — AND THEN CAME MARBEL LOVES.
When I decided to create coloring books of my own, I spent a long time thinking about what to call them. In the end, the answer had been sitting beside me all along. MARBEL LOVES. ♡
Because these books were born from something I had learned firsthand: sometimes the smallest things can bring us the biggest joy. A quiet afternoon. A box of markers. A page waiting for color. A very cuddly cat who refuses to leave your side.
